What is a River Medic? Select senior guides are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians, with on-river oxygen and defibrillator kits to compliment our comprehensive first aid & trauma kits.

On our Tully Rafting trips our River Medics examine the health questionnaires completed by our rafters, and are able to address conerns in relation to rafting such as medication, diabetes & prior injuries. Raging Thunder's River Medic Program is a world first and we continue to pride ourselves on having the highest commitment to safety standards.
