Skydive Mission Beach - Mission Beach

Skydiving at Mission Beach is certainly an experience you will never forget!

The Mission Beach Tully area must be one of the most beautiful places in the world to skydive. There are coral reefs, tropical islands, lush green rainforests, and the palm-lined white sandy beach you land on.

The tropical weather is always warm, which makes screaming through the sky at 200kph more comfortable than most other places you can sky-dive at.

Skydive Australia picks up passengers 2 to 4 people at a time. There are various pick up times through out the day starting at 8am through to 3.15pm.

You will be collected from your accommodation in the easily-identifiable bus. On the way to the airport you meet and get acquainted with the Jumpmaster you will be harnessed to and jump with.

There is the necessary paperwork including indemnity, Australian Parachute Federation Membership application and the balance of payment for the jump to complete.

Once you all arrive at the Airport, you will receive the necessary training you will need to gain the most enjoyment and safety during your jump. This takes about 15 minutes.

Jumps are done at 10,000 & 14,000 feet.

Your freefall depends on how high you go and your parachute will be activated by the jumpmaster at around 5000ft.
14.000 ft will give you 60 exciting seconds of freefall!

From there it's a leisurely fly around one of the most beautiful places in the world with the landing being made on the beach as near to your accommodation as we can get.

All going well, you will be delivered, a changed person back to your accommodation two hours after you are picked up.

Skydive Australia is a member of the Australian Parachuting Federation (APF).

Extras: Australian Parachute Federation Licence Fee - $35 per person

Optional Extras: Hand Cam Video, DVD's and Stills - it is preferable to arrange this at the time of booking.
